This certification is designed to recognize and honor the excellence among physicians who are specialists in the care of seriously ill and dying patients with life-limiting illness. With Dr. Shrivastava’s new Board Certification in Hospice & Palliative Care, we are able to enhance our goals of relieving suffering and improving the quality of life for patients and families living with life-threatening illness, help patients and families cope well with loss and engage in effective grieving, and manage and coordinate the array of challenging problems associated with end-of-life care. Dr. Shrivastava is a Hospice Medical Director and Pulmonary Disease specialist in Stockton, California. In his 35 years in medical care, he has extensive experience in internal medicine, as well as affiliations with many hospitals and medical groups including San Joaquin General Hospital and County Of San Joaquin, Delta Sierra Medical Group Incorporated. As an Adjunct Professor of Pharmacy at University of Pacific, School of Pharmacy and Associate Professor of Medicine at St. George’s School of Medicine, Dr. Shrivastava is an active researcher, inventor and has keen interest in medical education to influence health care policy at administrative and political levels.
